Using only one or two parts of the three, like Grow and Bloom without Micro for instance, means your plants will miss out on all the nutrients they need to grow and could potentially put them at risk of deficiencies.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Can I use just micro for my plants?
Hi Kelsea,
Great question, the Micro is meant to be used in tandem with the Grow, and Bloom, so that all the nutrient needs of the plant are meant. If you're looking to use select additives you could try our Calnesium to boost calcium levels (which Micro helps do).

Thanks and have a great day.

I am using well water with RO. My ppm is around 70-80. Should i use normal micro or hard water micro?
We'd recommend using the normal micro, as the hard water micro is typically used for ppm's over 200.
-
How many times a day do I feed the plants and how much do I feed them? I’ll be mixing by the gallon and fill bottles from there.
How often and how much you feed your plants is dependant on a variety of factors (temperature, humidity, pot size, growing medium, strain, etc.). Some growers water every day and some only 1-2 times a week. We recommend following a FEED, FEED, FLUSH rotation. So every third feeding should be with just straight pHed water. You can read more about how much to water here: https://futureharvest.com/blogs/articles/how-to-read-a-feed-schedule

I have fish and crayfish in my system, but need a boost as my plants grow but don't produce alot. Would this harm my critters?
Light doses of fertilizer are unlikely to directly harm your fish. The problem is that it is very likely the phosphates contained in our fertilizer are going to create an algae bloom. While most species are harmless, there are some that are very toxic. In regular water culture there is frequent changing of nutrient solution and hydrogen peroxide can be used to control the algae, but you don’t have this option in this case. Another option would be to supplement your aquaponics solution with a foliar spray using our products. For vegetating use 3 ml Grow, 2 ml Micro, and 1 ml Bloom per liter. For flowering use 3 ml Bloom, 2 ml Micro, and 1 ml Grow per liter. Be sure that none of the solution drips down into your aquaponics solution. If you want specific information on the safety of our products for fish, check out section 12 of the SDS.

How much of each (micro, grow, bloom) would you use if the ratio was 3-2-1
Sorry, I need more information to answer the question. I would need to know the solution volume and the stage of growth at minimum.
-
How often do you feed plants growing in soil IE weekly, giving the whole amount of solution or do you do it give smaller amounts more often thru the week? What is the amount of mixed solution per plant or square foot of garden?
As a general rule of thumb, we tell everyone to follow a FEED, FEED, FLUSH rotation. Flush meaning, just use pH balanced regular water. There are more advanced ways of feeding your plants, such as, testing nutrient levels of your soil or constantly feeding at a small dosage with lots of runoff. For the amount of mixed solution per plant would depend on your pot size. A 3gal pot of soil would roughly need about 1 litre of solution. We suggest to at least get 10% runoff when you're watering to push out any salt buildup. For flushes, you can even go up to 20% runoff.

I'm confused by the second table. It shows a basic and extreme measurement but does not specify Micro, Grow or Bloom? Thanks.

Hello! Im looking at the feeding schedules for Micro, Grow and Bloom. It says to use all 3 in week 1 of the veg stage. So I would use Micro, Grow and Bloom together from week 1 of the vegetative stage and continue to use all 3 all the way to week 7-8 of the flowering stage? Thanks again!
Yes, micro, grow, bloom should be used throughout the whole lifecycle at various ratios. You will get great results from just following the feed schedule.
