Ton O Bud is one of the best selling, if not the best selling, additive in Future Harvest's extensive additives range!

It is globally recognized and has a proven reputation as one of the most powerful plant enhancing additives on the market.

Ton O Bud is a concentrated P-K (phosphorous and potassium) additive designed to pack bulk onto flowers and fruits during the middle stages of the flowering cycle.

The benefits are plain and simple: higher end yields, drastically increased flower set (meaning more flowers are present), tighter and more compact density, and all without compromising quality and flavour!

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • My bottle says to use in weeks 2 and 3 of flower. But my chart says use for weeks 4 and 5... Can you tell me why its different from what the bottle says?

As new strains and techniques are developed we update our feeding schedule accordingly. The feeding schedule on our website found under DOWNLOADS will always be the most up to date.

  • Any suggestions for using ton o bud with feminized autoflowering plants. they usually start flowering 5 weeks into veg growth and bloom period is only 3 to 4 weeks till harvest. I'm guessing one should start in week one of flower.

After the seedling emerges from the ground and sprouts the second set of true leaves (the ones with the jagged edges not the ones with the smooth edges which are the cotyledons), feed with 1/4 strength of the recommended rate of week 1. Once the plant has started to develop finger leaves, the dosage can be increased to what is recommended for week 1 of vegetative growth. Like any other type of plant, adjust fertilizer strength based on the plant’s reaction.  If it has a pale colour, you should add more fertilizer. If the leaves begin to curl, you should scale back the amount of additives. Once the plants show signs of flowering, immediately switch to the feeding program to week 1 of flowering. Since these plants are generally on the small side a weaker regiment can be used. Try at 80% of the recommended dosage with a maximum of 1000 PPM (0.5 scale).  Here again observe the plants, your strain might accept higher doses but be cautious at first.

  • is dilution recomended for the use of ton o bud

Yes, you must always dilute the Liquid Ton O Bud in water with our recommended dosages or else your plant will face nutrient toxicity.

  • This for soil and Hydroponic?

Yes, Ton O Bud is suitable for both soil and hydroponics.

  • On the bottle you instructions are to give during week 2 and 3 of flowering, yet on your website you state give during week 5 and 6. Why the contradiction?

We are always actively fine tuning our feed schedule to achieve the best results. In the past we had our Bud Start going in in Week 1 flower, then having Ton O Bud right after in Week 2 and 3. After vigorous testing, we've found better results with adding in the flowering boosters once the bud just starts to bloom which happens in Week 2. So we've changed the feed schedule to start adding Bud Start in Week 2-3 and Ton O Bud in Week 4-5 then finishing off with Bud Boom from week 6+.  As older bottles come out of circulation, you will start to see updated directions on the newer bottles.
