QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Royal black shouldn’t be used in DWC system.

    Hi Robert,

That is correct, because the humic acid in Royal Black will take too long to break down. You'd want to use Royal Gold instead for a DWC as the fulvic acid will act faster.

Thanks for the comment and have a great day!

  • Hi, can i use this type of product for lawn

Royal Black is safe for use in your garden or on your lawn

  • Is royal Black effective with a peat based substrate, ie promix?

Royal Black can definitely be beneficial when used on a peat based medium.

  • Can/should, Royal black, or royal gold be used in cloning process. If so, how many ml/L

It is probably best to hold off on RB and RG early in the development.  Young plants can be sensitive to too many fertilizers and additives.

  • What is your method of pretreating pots with this product and what are the expected outcomes?

    Hello, thanks for the question.
If you were planning on pretreating the pot with Royal Black,
We would recommend mixing a 1/3 of the week 1 dosage of Royal Black in a 1L watering container.
Then pour that into a mister bottle and give the pot a foilier spray prior to adding the soil,

A process like this would be a step beyond an amatuer grower, the expected
outcomes of a process like this would be promoting a healthy root environment
and enriching the soil with beneficial life from the momment it touches the pot.

If you have any other questions please feel free to message us!
    Thanks
    -Jesse

  • Can I use this as a foliar spray????

Unfortunately not. Royal Black requires time to break down before it becomes bioavailable to the plant. This product is only recommended for soil applications.

  • What is the best way to mix almost solidify instantly when I pour into measurements

There are a few good practices we recommend when mixing a nutrient solution: - always mix micro first - never mix products directly together, always mix one by one in water - allow additional mixing time between products if you have any other questions, please email me at marketing@futureharvest.com

  • Hi I was just wondering if royal black can be used in a hydroponic system. Thanks

Hi there, we only recommend using Royal Black in a soil medium. Humic Acid needs time to breakdown in order to become bioavailable to the plant. In a hydroponic setup, depending on the dosage, it could precipitate in your reservoir and clog your lines. You could apply a few drops per litre to avoid any precipitation but the benefit would be very minimal in this case.
