Merry Christmas and a Happy Grow Year!

It's almost Christmas! This means it's time for baking, eating, and did we mention eating? 

Now I don't know about you, but there's no way we can make it through Christmas dinner without a little buzz on.

That's why we collected these 5 THC Christmas Recipes so you can whip up some THC infused Christmas themed edibles. Nothing says Christmas quite like cannabis!

 

1. Cannabis Eggnog 

Cannabis Eggnog

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 1 cup of whipping cream
  • 2 ounces of bourbon
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 gram of kief (for beginners half a gram)
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F, and then decarboxylate your weed for about half an hour.
  2. Now prepare a double boiler filled halfway with water.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to the mixing bowl and mix them together until they are nice and creamy.
  4. Do all of this on top of the double boiler for about 10 minutes and then set aside to rest.
  5. Now pour your eggnog in glass bottles of your choice, and put them in the refrigerator, until it’s time to serve it.

2. Edible Marshmallows

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of gelatin
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cannabis infused butter

 

Instructions

  1. For starters, put the gelatin in half a cup of water. Put the other half a cup of water n a saucepan and add 2 cups of powdered sugar.
  2. When the sugar melts, raise the temperature until the syrup starts to boil.
  3. After that, remove the pan from the heat.
  4. Add vanilla extract to your sugar syrup and mix everything with your cannabis-infused butter.
  5. Stir all the ingredients with a whisk until your mixture is fluffy – a creamy marshmallow heaven.
  6. The stirring process can take up to 20 minutes if you are doing it by hand, so you might as well use a blender instead.
  7. Whatever option you choose, make sure you don’t stop mixing until it’s extremely fluffy.
  8. Now, you have your marshmallow mixture ready to be shaped as you please.
  9. Pour the mixture on a cutting board, and add some powdered sugar. This will stop the mixture from sticking until it cools down.
  10. Use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes and sizes as you like them.
  11. You may also add some sprinkles or decorations of your choice.
  12. These heavenly marshmallows are a great addition to any cake or hot chocolate.

3.  Candy Cane Cannabis Brownies

Ingredients

Brownies

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour plus 2 tablespoons
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 gram kief or hash decarboxylated, finely ground
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs large
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract

Glaze

  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate or chocolate chips chopped
  • 2 peppermint candy canes crushed

Instructions

Prepare Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended. Set aside.
  3. Melt chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring to blend, until melted and smooth.  Remove from heat.  Whisk in sugar, eggs, and peppermint extract until well combined.  Stir in dry ingredients and mix until well combined
  4. Spread batter in prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from the pan. Do not over bake!  Cool for 20 minutes before glazing.

Prepare Glaze

  1. Melt chocolate and cream together in a small saucepan, stirring until smooth.  Spread glaze over brownies.
  2. Use a rolling pin or the back of a heavy cast iron pan to crush candy canes.  Sprinkle crushed candy over tops of brownies.  Cool completely before cutting.

 

Be sure to decarboxylate the kief or hash first by placing it in an ovenproof dish and baking at 250 degrees F for 20 minutes.

4. THC Snowball Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup cannabutter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts You can use walnuts, pecans or even almonds depending on how you want
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • powdered sugar This is for rolling the marijuana Christmas snowball cookies in

 

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix the cannabutter and the regular butter as well as the 1/2 cup of powdered sugar along with the vanilla extract in a large bowl. Then stir in the flour nuts and salt until the mixture forms a dough that holds together.
  3. Now shape the dough in to small 1 inch balls and set them about 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
  4. Once your oven is done preheating bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until they set. Do not let them stay in long enough to brown you only want them to set.
  5. Remove them from the cookie sheet and bake them on a wire rack to let them cool slightly.
  6. Roll the warm cookies in powdered sugar and set them back on the wire rack. Let them cool and re roll them in the powdered sugar again.

5. Weed Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar 
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Fine salt
  • 6 tbsp cannabis butter
  • 6 tbsp unsalted regular butter
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine sugar, flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pulse just to combine. 
  2. Add both butters and pulse until all of the butter is incorporated into the flour and the mixture is sandy. Add the egg and vanilla and pulse until the mixture comes together in big clumps.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a clean work surface and knead a few times to form a ball.
  4. Divide the dough in half, pat into 2 discs about 1/4-inch thick, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  5. Position an oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Put 1 disc of dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper and roll out the dough to 1/8-inch thick.
  7. Cut out with thanksgiving cookie cutters and arrange on one of the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. Once cool enough to handle, transfer cookies to a rack to cool completely.
