A bunch of weed gummy bears spill out of a jar

1. Weed Gummy Bears

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil (Refined coconut oil, solid at room temperature)
  • 1/2 Cup Cold Water
  • 85 Grams Packet of Flavoured Gelatine *One Jell-o Pack
  • 2 Tablespoons Plain Unflavoured Gelatine (20 Grams)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sunflower / Soy Lecithin (liquid lecithin) (Optional)

Equipment

  • Stove
  • Cooking Pot
  • Whisk
  • Gummy Bear Moulds
  • Dropper
  • Freezer

Instructions

  1. Turn your stove on low heat. In a pot, add water, the cannabis-infused coconut oil, and the sunflower/soy lecithin.
  2. Continue stirring the mixture until it has a consistent texture and the coconut oil has completely melted. Now, add in the flavoured gelatin and the unflavoured gelatin while continuing to stir throughout this process.
  3. Whisk extensively on low heat for 10-15 minutes until the gelatine is completely dissolved. Make sure it does not come to a boil. But, you need to make sure that all the ingredients are thoroughly combined. (Don't stop stirring this mixture for the entire 15 minutes)
  4. While leaving the pot on the element, start filling up the gummy bear moulds with a dropper (a dropper is a mini turkey baster that comes with most gummy bear moulds). Make sure to move quickly. If your liquid starts to separate, it's because the mixture has started to cool. It's critical that you move fast otherwise the oil may separate in the pot. You need to continue whisking throughout the pouring process otherwise the mixture may start to harden and stop binding. (The secret to making great infused gummy bears is pouring the mixture into the moulds as fast as possible.)
  5. Put the gummy bear moulds into the freezer for 20-25 minutes. (Pro tip:  lift the mould 2 inches off the table and drop it. This will let the mixture fill any air pockets.)
  6. Bon Appetite!

Notes

Optional:

add a 3/4 tsp of citric acid into the mixture, use lemonade instead of water, and once the gummies come out of the freezer coat them in sugar. If you’re using potent cannabis oil, this should help with the taste.

Store in the refrigerator for best results.

2. Sour THC Gummies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fruit (any flavor and can be frozen or fresh but must be thawed)
  • ½ cup sugar (granulated or icing)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for outer coating)
  • 1/3 cup cannabis tincture (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons gelatin (unflavored)
  • 3 teaspoons citric acid

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Sieve
  • Small gummy mold
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • Storage container with lid

Instructions

  1. Begin by coring and slicing any fruit that you would like to add, ensuring to remove peels on more fibrous options such as apples.
  2. Toss all the fruit into a food processor and blend it together until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add all the ingredients, including the fruit but excluding the gelatin and citric acid, to a saucepan and gently whisk them together.
  4. Set the burner to medium heat, and once it begins to simmer, slowly add the gelatin powder.
  5. Now you will need to cook the liquid while whisking the ingredients frequently and scraping the bottom of the saucepan to avoid lumps. Continue to heat the mixture until it changes from a bright and bold colored liquid to a thicker and cloudy version.
  6. Turn off the burner and pour the juice through a sieve to remove any harder remaining chunks from it.
  7. Pour the THC gummies liquid into the tray, then place it into the fridge to set for at least 6 hours.
  8. Once the edibles have cooled, you can move them from the fridge and gently pop them out one by one into a storage container.
  9. Mix the citric acid and sugar together in a small mixing bowl, and then dump the sugary mix on top of the gummies.
  10. Seal up the container and give it a good shake to evenly coat all the THC gummies.

  • decarboxylated cannabis or activated tincture use preferred dose

Equipment

  • Chocolate Molds

  2. Once the chocolate melts and has a runny consistency, add the ground decarbed cannabis or activated tincture. Mix very well. Continue to heat gently until you have a smooth pourable consistency.
  3. Pour into chocolate molds being careful not to get any water in the chocolate. Let chocolates cool at room temperature.

4. White Chocolate With Marijuana

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of white chocolate
  • 2 grams of dry buds
  • 15 grams of normal butter (if you want to speed up the recipe and have it at home at this moment ,you can use directly marijuana butter and forget the buds)
  • 4 tablespoons of water

Equipment

  • A saucepan or casserole dish
  • A container or mould in which the chocolate can be hardened

Instructions

  1. We chop the white chocolate ounces as much as we can. Meanwhile, in a casserole we may start putting 4 tablespoons of water. We’ll do it at very low power.
  2. Once we have chopped chocolate, pour it into the casserole and with the help of a kitchen spatula or a wooden spoon, let it melt, little by little.
  3. When the white chocolate gets melted, add the marijuana butter, or the buds. If we opt for this second option, we will have to add them grinded, as if they were almost dust. To do that, you know that the grinder you use to make joints is always a good ally. If you need one, PEVgrow has a wide grinder catalogue, some of them as discrete and useful as these watches.
  4. When the mixture is as compact as possible, remove and pour the mixture into the mould we have chosen and let it cool. If you want it to be shaped like a chocolate bar, in large supermarkets and bakery shops even in some paraphernalia shop, you can find moulds which will adapt to this shape.
  5. Once it’s no longer hot, we can put it in the fridge for 24 hours in order to be harder and take the shape of a normal chocolate bar. From here… you only have to enjoy it! In what way? You can consume it like any normal chocolate, eating an ounce or using it to make other desserts.
